Bears & Cuddly Friends

Bears and cuddly friends suit two distinct room types: the soft pastel nursery and the warmer, woodier kid bedroom. The styling shifts a little for each. For nurseries, lean into the pastel teddy designs from age 0 to 2. Pair a Soft Sketch Teddy mural with cream or buttermilk walls, a boucle crib upholstered in dusty pink or pale sage, and a vintage rocking chair in light wood. Avoid bright primary colors. The whole room should feel like a soft cloud. For kid bedrooms with watercolor or storybook bears, the palette can deepen. Try a Bear Forest Dawn mural on the longest wall, then add warm walnut bookshelves, a sheepskin or faux-fur rug, and pillows in mustard, sage, and warm cream. A reading nook with a brass floor lamp under the mural pulls the storytelling vibe through. Bears love books. Let the styling lean into that.

For panda designs, a slightly different palette applies. Pandas read best against soft greens like sage, eucalyptus, or dusty mint to echo their bamboo-grove home. Pair a mural like The Bamboo Leaf Sled with crisp white trim, light oak furniture, and pillows in green and cream. Skip black entirely as an accent color, even though pandas are black and white. The mural itself carries that visual contrast. The room should breathe in soft greens and warm woods. For wainscoting designs like Teddy Wagon Garden Ride, install below the chair rail and paint the upper wall in a warm cream. The contrast keeps the lower mural feeling grounded and storybook-cozy. Add a small reading bench, a few wooden toys, and one big soft throw on the bed. Cozy is the brief, in every detail.
