The Same Rules Apply, No Matter What You Picked
Each One Is a Little Different
Find your material below for the specific routine and what to avoid.
Signature Fabric (Peel & Stick)
Signature Fabric is our softest material — a 340g woven polyester with a fabric-like texture and ultra-matte finish. Because it has a natural weave, it deserves a gentler hand than vinyl.
Your Cleaning Routine
- Weekly: Soft microfiber duster or vacuum brush attachment on low.
- Spot cleaning: Dampen a clean white cloth with water — or water plus a single drop of mild dish soap (Dawn works well). Blot the affected area gently. Don't scrub. Don't saturate.
- After cleaning: Pat dry immediately with a soft, lint-free towel.
What to Avoid
- Ammonia or solvent-based cleaners (Windex, glass cleaners, all-purpose sprays with bleach)
- Abrasive scrub pads, steel wool, or Magic Erasers — fabric texture catches and pills
- Excessive water — woven fibers absorb and can warp
- Prolonged direct sunlight — fading happens faster on fabric than on vinyl
Performance Vinyl (Peel & Stick)
Performance Vinyl is our most durable and most washable material. At 370g with advanced water and scratch resistance, it's the right choice for playrooms, hallways, and high-traffic walls. It's also the most forgiving to clean.
Your Cleaning Routine
- Weekly: Microfiber duster or damp cloth as needed.
Spot cleaning: Damp microfiber cloth with mild dish soap. Wipe in gentle circular motions. Rinse with a clean damp cloth, then pat dry. - For tougher messes: A barely damp Magic Eraser, used lightly on a tested area first, can lift sticky stains. Use sparingly — even on vinyl, repeated abrasion thins the surface.
What to Avoid
- Harsh chemical solvents (acetone, paint thinner, gasoline-based cleaners)
- Bleach-based cleaners at full strength
- Pressure washing or seam-soaking
- Steel wool except as a last-resort method on a hidden test area
Classic Paper (Pre-Pasted)
Classic Paper is a premium 214g water-activated paper with a semi-gloss finish — closer to traditional wallpaper than to peel-and-stick. Because it was installed with water, it stays sensitive to water for life. Treat it accordingly.
Your Cleaning Routine
- Weekly: Soft cloth or vacuum brush attachment.
Spot cleaning: A barely damp cloth (less water than you think) with a tiny drop of mild soap. Blot, don't scrub. Work small areas at a time. - After cleaning: Pat dry within seconds.
What to Avoid
- Excess moisture — water near a seam can reactivate the original prepaste adhesive
- Solvent-based cleaners
- Steam cleaners
- Magic Erasers (the surface is smoother than vinyl but more delicate to abrasion)
- Steam from a bathroom or kitchen on the other side of the wall
